Petersfield Fireworks 2013
Last Saturday the town once again came out in force to support our charity fireworks display at Bell Hill. The event raised around £5,500 for local good causes. Thank you for your support.
On a slightly less upbeat note, we would like to apologise to anyone who was offended by our bonfire display. We totally understand how this could have been viewed as inappropriate. Our intention was to show patriotism, but we admit that this was an error of judgement.
Petersfield Round Table look forward to your continued support at our community based events. As ever, we remain open to charity requests from local good causes. If you would like a cause to be considered please contact us via our website.
Petersfield Round Table 299
Whilst raising £1000s for local charities, Petersfield Round Table manage to fit in a varied programme of amazing social events, including a beer or two. If you are keen to get involved and meet some new friends then get in touch.
What do we do?
Although we are sometimes very serious about organising our Award winning events, the main rule is to have some fun with friends. Why not come along for a drink as we are always looking for like-minded men to join us so we can grow our group and add some more banter.
Petersfield Round Table are not a bunch of old men sitting round discussing town affairs, local politics and the problems with the youth of today! We are not some strange secret society with funny handshakes and wierd rituals that you have to perform. We are also not about standing out in the street every weekend shaking buckets. It's a great way to make some friends if you are new in town or seem to be stuck in staring at the same four walls every night talking to yourself.
Petersfield Table meets every fortnight on a Thursday, often in The Square Brewery and has a varied diary of events throughout the year. Check out our Events page for more information.
As well as the fun social side of Round Table, we are also here to generate money for local causes. If you are a local person in need of support or a member of a local charity get in touch. We will do what we can to help. We are also very happy to receive your support in any form. If you have any questions or suggestions email email@example.com.
We are Raising £10,000 for the Multiple Sclerosis Society this year!
We are working hard to raise an extra £10,000 this year outside of our normal events. Andy Guest, PRT299 Chairman for 2013/14 has chosen the Multiple Sclerosis Society Alton and Petersfield to be our chosen charity for the year. They are a friendly group of people affected by MS who live in and around the Alton, Petersfield and surrounding rural areas. They offer out support, advice and information to others with MS. For Information please head to their website - www.alton-petersfieldmssociety.org.uk
All the members of PRT299 will be doing various sporting events to help raise to the magic £10K target. Andy is leading from the front by running not one, not two but SEVEN marathons this year!
